Drain excavation is a complicated task, with a variety of factors impacting on the possibility of the work being carried out.

As with any drainage issue, there are a number of investigative tasks to determine the necessary steps to resolve the problem. We have worked on many projects where drain excavation has been the most suitable option.

 Commercial Drain Excavation

Common issues within drainage systems include flooding caused by ground movements, damage to pipework due to root ingress and of course, blockages such as large fatbergs.

Before carrying out any drainage works, we will review the information given to us by our client to understand the extend of the issue. Most often, we will conduct a CCTV drain survey to enable our team to take accurate, high quality, pictures and video of the internal drainage network.

From this imagery we are able to diagnose the drainage problem. From here we then make intelligent recommendations on how we can resolve the problem. In some cases, this will be drain excavation.

Drain Excavation Process

As part of the drain excavation process, our team dig a hole or trench to reveal the pipes or area of the network which requires work.

During the process our team are able to replace the pipes or even reline them if this is a more cost-effective option for the client. We have worked on many drainage problems where we have delivered an efficient and reliable solution for our clients, without exceeding budgets for the project.
