Mantank operate fully mobile and self-contained 1300mm² membrane type filter presses. in addition to static filter presses. Each press has 80 chambers, providing a cake drop capacity of approx 3.5m³ per cycle. Given that on some products a cycle can be completed in one hour, the units have the capability to handle and process up to 30m³ of sludge per hour.

For long term dewatering contracts ie large lagoons etc we have available semi static units which are delivered to the clients site and erected the same day. Typically the units will be supplied with 2 operatives for the complete operation of the plant. These staff are highly trained in the use of mobile filter presses. In instances where the client prefers to operate the unit using their own operatives we would provide comprehensive training on the operation of the filter press and its associated equipment.

The units come complete with feed pumps and all the necessary ancillary equipment including generators, all mounted on a 40ft enclosed trailer. Dry cake is discharged via a radial conveyor at the back of the unit, either onto the floor or into a skip. Complete with the unit will be a wagon mounted mobile lifting arm for positioning of the submersible mixer pump within the lagoon or tank with the facility to move the pump around to maximise sludge removal. This pump can also incorporate a chopper unit for maceration of any large particles.

These units where required can be left on site on a retainer basis for emergency use. We have the capabilities to mobilise our units very quickly providing a fast and efficient delivery to any site throughout the UK and Europe.
